Apparently Stealing the Basketball is not all that UCLA Basketball player’s steal.  Three UCLA Basketball players were held on shoplifting charges of a Louis Vuitton store in Hangzhou China. At a state dinner with China President Xi, Trump got involved and asked for these alleged thugs to be released and allowed to return to the United States. The alleged thieves were LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley, and Jalen Hill. UCLA must be proud. TRUMP CELEBRITY JUSTICE WOULD SHOOT BERGDAHL FORGIVES UCLA BASKETBALL PLAYERS CHINA SHOPLIFTING SPREE. As for Trump, what a crackpot sense of priorities.

Chinese Laundry Boy Xi Does Trump’s Bidding so today he’s a Terrific Laundry Boy!

Forget Kim Jong Un… and Trump’s disappointment over Xi,  today is a new day in China-US Relations. In his Fifth Grader vernacular, Trump praised Xi calling him “Terrific.” Trump asked Xi to send three ALLEGED SHOPLIFTERS back to the USA. Yes… President Xi, we highly value our Alleged Larceny Gangstas.

“What they did was unfortunate,” [so alleged shoplifting is unfortunate? I thought it was a felony!] Trump said. “You know, you’re talking about very long prison sentences. They do not play games.”

The alleged felon future celebs boarded a Delta Airlines flight at no cost to themselves and returned to Los Angeles. Too bad Xi didn’t act faster, the three alleged criminals could have enjoyed a ride home in AIR FORCE ONE and been greeted as returning heroes from war.

Contrast the Trump Celebrity Justice with Bowe Bergdahl

The Bowe Bergdahl case is now in jeopardy because of Trump’s big mouth. Trump has been so outspoken about punishing and even shooting Bowe Bergdahl that there is no way he could have gotten a fair trial especially in a Military Trial which is not part of the separate Judiciary but falls under the purview of the Commander in Chief.

What you know about this case may surprise you because Trump monopolizes the media the real facts have been drowned out by the Blowhard.

The Government Report on Bergdahl is 371 pages long. It is not a classified document but the Pentagon will not release it. First, let’s start with some basic facts.

Bergdahl did, in fact, leave his post at night on June 30th, 2009. But unlike a typical deserter that is trying to escape hazardous duty, Bergdahl ventured instead deep into enemy territory and was captured.

He was tortured far worse than John McCain ever dreamed or fabricated and spent more years in captivity than any POW since Vietnam.

Bergdahl’s return was through a POW exchange. There is no question he was being held prisoner. This is where Donald Trump started blowing off at the mouth. He called the exchange a terrible deal and accused Bergdahl of being a traitor.

Bergdahl was never regarded by the Military as a traitor and was NEVER charged as such.

In fact, Bergdahl was instrumental in providing the US Government with a great deal of detail about how the Taliban were operating. The Military Court took note of this when Bergdahl was given a dishonorable discharge rather than prison time.

Trump has done nothing but blow off at Bergdahl calling him a traitor and opposing the Military Court ruling. Trump as Commander in Chief is obligated to support and defend the Military Court and Military Court Decisions. The Court also noted in its dicta that the Trial was made difficult because of Trump’s public rants and attempt to influence the trial. This is unlawful conduct but it is also immoral conduct. A Trial is a sacred right of the defendant to impartial fair treatment under the law.

I think Bergdahl’s case will be reversed on appeal not only because Trump interfered but because this case doesn’t match any prior precedent.

There are lots of deserters in the Military. It has always been a problem, especially in mechanized warfare. Nobody goes to jail over desertion. And often as in this case it appears that the Military knew that Bergdahl suffered from severe mental illness. The Military, however, is short of numbers. Apparently, recruits aren’t buying the CIA wars as patriotic service. Incredibly, the Army has now dropped the mental health requirements entirely.

Bergdahl unlike any other “deserter” in US History intentionally headed off into enemy territory at night with a delusion that he was going to operate alone as some kind of rogue operative. By all accounts it would suggest that Bergdahl was having a mental breakdown. This may also be why the investigation and the ensuing 371 pages have not been released by the Army. There is information in this document that the ARMY is covering up. But it is not just a simple coverup!

There is another bit of information that you may not know.
Just three days after Bergdahl deserted his post, a Military gag order was instituted throughout Afghanistan. This to my knowledge has never been done in the history of any other deserter.

Thousands of Soldier had to sign agreements that they would never discuss any details or any rumor about Bergdahl. This same gag order was expanded after Bergdahl was smuggled into Pakistan. It was an information lockdown of unprecedented scale. I know of no other deserter that ever prompted such an action by the US ARMY. Clearly, there are facts missing that make Bergdahl far more than a typical deserter.

Fox News ran a false report without verification that the NCIS conducted an investigation that claimed Bergdahl surrendered to the Taliban as an informant. The disgraced faux News “Journalist” and alleged masher, Bill O’Reilly ran the story. Of course only one problem… the story was 100% false.

Bowe can’t sue Fox for this because he would have to prove malice. But if he gets a good lawyer he may be able to prove malice and here’s why:

“There are no records of NCIS conducting an investigation of the type being reported,” said NCIS public affairs officer Ed Buice. “There is no NCIS report.”

This qualifies as malice because it is reckless disregard for the facts and distributing this slander to millions. Bergdahl should sue Bill O’Reilly as well as Fox for Defamation.

In Sum, the Army doesn’t regard Bergdahl as a traitor and never has! But Trump the blowhard empty vessel Commander in Heel Spurs does. So does Bill O’Reilly and Fox News. But if Bergdahl had been a UCLA Basketball payers Trump would be pushing for Celebrity Justice.

Bergdahl joined the Coast Guard in 2006 at the age of 20 ostensibly according to Major General Kenneth Dahl, ‘to save lives.’ His service lasted just 26 days.

“He became overwhelmed and then found himself in the hospital,” General Kenneth Dahl said. “He wasn’t ready for it.” The Coast Guard categorized the ordeal as an “entry-level separation” and diagnosed him with “adjustment disorder with depression.”

The big mystery is how Bergdahl was able to enlist in the US Army in 2008 with no red flags from his mental health history. The US Army didn’t bat an eye. He graduated Infantry school without difficulty and was sent to Iraq in 2009. And the Army claims no culpability?

There is more detail in this case if you care to read it.

Some would rather be spoon fed by Trump. Trump has repeatedly called Bergdahl a traitor. This is simply fiction. Trump says he would shoot Bergdahl by firing squad. Trump then mocks as if he has a rifle in hand and squeezes the trigger. Something is seriously wrong with Trump. We have simply never had a President of the United State that is this vulgar and so disrespectful of the courts and others. It’s pathetic.

Events leading to Bergdahl’s desertion:

On June 25, 2009, First Lieutenant Brian Bradshaw was killed in a bomb blast in close proximity to Bergdahl. Bradshaw and Bergdahl were close friends since infantry training.

Two days later on June 27, 2009, Bergdahl sent a distraught e-mail to his parents before he was captured three days before he left his post and was captured by the Taliban.

mom, dad

The future is too good to waste on lies. And life is way too short to care for the damnation of others, as well as to spend it helping fools with their ideas that are wrong. I have seen their ideas and I am ashamed to even be american.

The horror of the self-righteous arrogance that they thrive in. It is all revolting. […] [Three good sergeants had been forced to move to another company] […] and one of the biggest shit bags is being put in charge of the team. […] [My battalion commander was] a conceited old fool. […]

In the US army you are cut down for being honest… but if you are a conceited brown nosing shit bag you will be allowed to do what ever you want, and you will be handed your higher rank…

The system is wrong. I am ashamed to be an american. And the title of US soldier is just the lie of fools. … The US army is the biggest joke the world has to laugh at. It is the army of liars, backstabbers, fools, and bullies.

The few good SGTs are getting out as soon as they can, […] I am sorry for everything here. These people need help, yet what they get is the most conceited country in the world telling them that they are nothing and that they are stupid, that they have no idea how to live…

We don’t even care when we hear each other talk about running their children down in the dirt streets with our armored trucks… We make fun of them in front of their faces, and laugh at them for not understanding we are insulting them […] I am sorry for everything. The horror that is america is disgusting.

Robert Bergdahl, Bowe’s Father Responded in email

Dear Bowe, In matters of life and death, and especially at war, it is never safe to ignore ones’ conscience. Ethics demands obedience to our conscience. It is best to also have a systematic oral defense of what our conscience demands. Stand with like minded men when possible.

For Trump… Ignorance spews forth:

TRUMP revs up the blood thirst at his never-ending campaign rallies with knowingly false deceptive statements that Bergdahl is a traitor and should be shot.

Trump is so ignorant he is unaware that a deserter is not classified as a traitor. Also, he seems unaware that the United States has not executed a deserter since January 31, 1945, and that was the controversial case of Eddie Slovik. The case is now viewed as an injustice. Since then, no US soldier has ever been executed for desertion.

One member of the reviewing tribunal of the Slovik case blamed Eisenhower for using Slovik’s death sentence as a means to stem the large problem the US Military was facing from massive desertions.
The killing of Slovik, however, did not, reduce US Military desertions. It did, however, put an end to executions for desertion.

In WWII there were 1.7 million court marshals and 1 execution. The single execution was Eddie Slovik. It is not a case that Trump should laud in front of his bloody meat fans.

One final note on Bergdhal is that the Court Marshall idea was that of Bergdhal’s defense attorney to end Bergdahl’s captivity. In captivity by the Taliban Bergdhal was blindfolded for nearly 1800 days living in a 6 by 6 cage with no running water or toilet.

Trump’s conduct of stirring the blood thirst of his Neocon audience may well be ample grounds for a Judicial reversal. Trump’s conduct is vulgar and unacceptable. Interference with Trials by anyone is simply unacceptable.

Where is the culpability of the US ARMY in this case? It is incomprehensible that this soldier known to suffer from severe mental illness was placed in a Combat Zone in Afghanistan. If anyone endangered the lives of other in that Platoon, it was the Military itself.

In the end, for Trump, it has nothing to do with Justice.

Trump panders to the Tabloids. Who knows… the basketball players may one day be Celebrity Professional NBA players taking a knee on the court. John Wooden would have tossed the punks off the team. But we live in different times now.

Trump’s form of justice is Celebrity Justice. He weights the value of justice as to what is best for Trump and his populist panderers. Yeah Trump’s a real “SPORT”…
